COME, YE SINNERS
Words by Joseph Hart and Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy/ Matthew 11:28-30
Come, ye sinners, poor and wretched, weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you, full of pity joined with pow’r:
He is able, He is able, He is willing doubt no more; He is willing doubt no more.
Come, ye needy, come and welcome, God’s free bounty glorify;
True belief and true repentance, ev’ry grace that brings you nigh,
Without money, without money, come to Jesus Christ and buy;
come to Jesus Christ and buy.
None, no none, but Jesus, can do helpless sinners good.
None, no none, but Jesus, plead the merit of His blood.
Come, ye weary, heavy laden, bruised and broken by the fall;
If you tarry till you’re better you will never come at all:
Not the righteous, not the righteous, sinners Jesus came to call;
sinners Jesus came to call.
None, no none, but Jesus, can do helpless sinners good.
None, no none, but Jesus, plead the merit of His blood.
His yoke is easy; His burden’s easy. His yoke is easy; His burden’s easy.
Come, ye sinners, poor and wretched, weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you, full of pity joined with pow’r:
He is able, He is able, He is willing doubt no more;
He is willing doubt no more.

None, no none, but Jesus, can do helpless sinners good.

His burden’s easy. Come, sinners, come.

I COVER MY MOUTH
Words and Music by Lori Sealy / Job 38-42
My thoughts proudly seek to know Your ways divine,
To comprehend the infinite, to grasp You with my mind.
Vainly do I strive to search Your sovereign ways.
The secret things belong to You and drive mortals to praise.
A fool without knowledge, I darken Your counsel, as if I could understand
The depth of the riches of wisdom so wonderful.
You are God, I’m only man and I cover my mouth with my hand.
To fault the Holy One, to fight omnipotence,
To argue with the Righteous Judge, shows my ignorance.
A fool without knowledge I darken Your counsel, as if I could understand
The depth of the riches of wisdom so wonderful.
You are God; I’m only man and I cover my mouth with my hand.
When doubts disturb my fallen breast and all is dark as night to me,
Upon the Solid Rock I rest and humbly bow my knee.
You can do all things. Your purposes endure
And I repent before Your throne and I seek Your mercies sure.
A fool without knowledge, I darken Your counsel, as if I could understand
The depth of the riches of wisdom so wonderful.
You are God, I’m only man, and I cover my mouth with my hand.
With my hand.

IN YOUR WRATH & HOT DISPLEASURE
Words from the Psalter of 1912 and by Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy / Psalm 38
In Your wrath and hot displeasure, chasten not Your servant, Lord;
Let Your mercy, without measure, help and peace to me afford.
Heavy is my tribulation; sore my punishment has been;
Broken by Your indignation, I am troubled by my sin.
(“My guilt is overwhelming me, like a burden too heavy to bear.”)
With my burden of transgression, heavy laden, overborne,
Humbled, low, I make confession; for my folly now I mourn.
Weak and wounded, I implore You; Lord, to me Your mercy show;
All my prayer is now before You, all my trouble You do know.
(“Everything is open before You and my sighing is not hidden from Your eyes.”)
LORD, rebuke me in Your mercy. Gentle Shepherd, guard my way.
Discipline in loving-kindness, lest I go astray.
Darkness gathers, foes assail me, but I answer not a word;
All my friends desert and fail me, only You my cry has heard.
Lord, in You I am confiding; You will answer when I call,
Lest my foes, the good deriding, triumph in Your servant’s fall.
(“Let them not rejoice over me when I stumble.”)
LORD, rebuke me in Your mercy. Gentle Shepherd, guard my way.
Discipline in loving-kindness, lest I go astray.
I am prone to halt and stumble. Grief and sorrow dwell within,
Shame and guilt my spirit humble; I am sorry for my sin.
Lord, my God, do not forsake me; let me know that You are near,
Under Your protection take me; as my Savior now appear.
(“Come quickly to help me, O God of my salvation.”)
In Your wrath and hot displeasure, chasten not Your servant, Lord;
Let Your mercy, without measure, help and peace to me afford,
Help and peace to me afford; help and peace to me afford.

BEGONE UNBELIEF
Words by John Newton and Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy / Mark 9:24
Begone unbelief, my Savior is near, and for my relief will surely appear;
By prayer let me wrestle, and He will perform; with Christ in the vessel, I smile at the storm.
Though dark be my way, since He is my guide, 'tis mine to obey and His to provide;
Though cisterns be broken, and creatures all fail, the Word He has spoken shall surely prevail.
His love in time past forbids me to think He’ll leave me at last in trouble to sink;
While each Ebenezer that I have in review, confirms His good pleasure to help see me through.
Oh,why should I complain of want or distress, temptation or pain? He has told me no less;
The heirs of salvation, I know from His Word, through much tribulation must follow the Lord.
Begone, unbelief! Cruel doubts fly away.
Lord I believe, increase my weak faith.
Blessed Son of David have mercy, oh, please.
Oh, begone unbelief! Begone far from me!
How bitter that cup, no heart can conceive, which He drank right up that sinners might live;
His way was much rougher and darker than mine; did Jesus thus suffer, and shall I repine?
Since all that I meet shall work for my good, the bitter is sweet, and the medicine food;
Though painful at present, ‘twill cease before long; and then, Oh! how pleasant, the conqueror’s song!
Begone unbelief! Cruel doubts fly away.
Lord I believe, increase my weak faith.
Blessed Son of David, have mercy, oh, please
Begone unbelief! Begone far from me!
Oh, begone unbelief! Begone far from me.

SEARCHER OF HEARTS
Words by George Morris and Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy / Psalm 139:23-24
Searcher of hearts, from mine erase all thoughts that should not be,
And in its deep recesses trace my gratitude to Thee.
Search me God, and know my heart, and test my anxious frame;
Lead me in the everlasting way.
Hearer of prayer, O guide aright each word and deed of mine;
Life’s battle teach me how to fight, and be the vict’ry Thine.
The weapons of our warfare are not earthly but divine,
That Christ our Captain may be glorified.
Giver of all, every blessing comes from You: raiment, and shelter, and our food.
I thank You, God, that all the good gifts from above, are a testimony of Your love.
Father and Son and Holy Ghost, all glorious Three in One,
You know best what I need most, so let Your will be done.
Try me Lord, and test me, and let Your perfect plan unfold.
Turn these filthy rags into pure gold.
Giver of all, every blessing comes from You; raiment, and shelter, and our food.
I thank You, God, that all the good gifts from above, are a testimony of Your love.
Searcher of hearts, Hearer of prayer, Giver of all, I rest in Your care.

REMEMBER, O THOU MAN
Words and Music by Thomas Ravenscroft and Lori Sealy
Remember, O thou man, O thou man, O thou man,
Remember, O thou man, thy time is spent.
Remember sin is strong, in it we’re dead and gone,
But Christ has righted wrong, therefore repent.
Remember Adam’s fall, O thou man, O thou man.
Remember Adam’s fall from Heaven to Hell.
Remember Adam’s fall, how we were condemned all
To death perpetual justly to dwell.
O thou man, sin has ruined you.
O thou man, nothin’ you can do.
Remember God’s goodness, O thou man, O thou man.
Remember God’s goodness and promise made.
Remember God’s goodness, how His only Son He sent,
Our judgment to prevent; be not afraid.
O thou man, the curse of sin is great.
O thou man, turn before it’s too late.
Remember, O thou man, O thou man, O thou man.
Remember, O thou man, that God above,
Long before time began, knew of the sin of man,
And laid redemption’s plan, for He is love.
O thou man, hope has been restored.
O thou man, trust in Christ the Lord!
Give thanks to God always, O thou man, O thou man.
Give thanks to God always, most joyfully.
Give thanks to God always, for His redemptive ways
Let all men sing and praise, “Holy! Holy!
Holy! Holy!
Holy! Holy!
Holy! Holy!”

GOD MOVES IN A MYSTERIOUS WAY
Words by William Cowper and Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy / for Jason and Kara Tippetts
God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs, and works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take; the clouds you so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break in blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.
God moves in a mysterious way that’s often not my own.
His wisdom guides each path I take; His mercy leads me home.
His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding ev’ry hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste, sweet will be the flow’r.
Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter, and He will make it plain.
God moves in a mysterious way that’s often not my own.
His wisdom guides each path I take. His mercy leads me home.
Help me to trust when I don’t understand. Grant me the peace of resting in Your plan.
God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.

ACHAN'S SIN
Words and Music by Lori Sealy / Joshua 7; II Samuel 11-12; Genesis 4
Achan’s greedy eyes brought him trouble in the Battle of Jericho.
Fifty shekels of gold and silver Achan craved and Achan stole.
Hoped that they would not be found; buried them deep in the ground.
Achan’s sin, he tried to cover, but, by God it was discovered.
David’s lusting eyes brought him trouble, with Bathsheba he fell in sin.
And his wickedness led to murder, for, Uriah’s life he did end.
Through his plotting and his schemes he hoped to hide these evil things.
David’s sin, he tried to cover, but, by God it was discovered.
Through a Nathan or Ai, God will bring our sin to light;
For His sure, all-seeing eye is upon us…
All the time.
Cain killed Abel in the heat of anger. Sin was crouching at his door.
In the field with no one looking, struck his brother without remorse.
Abel’s blood cried from the ground. The God who hears, He heard the sound.
Cain, his sin, he tried to cover, but by God it was discovered.
Through a Nathan or Ai, God will bring our sin to light;
For His sure, all-seeing eye is upon us…
All the time.
May we put to death deeds of darkness. May we walk in the light of truth;
Casting away the sin that binds us; put off the old & don the new.
May the fear of God within keep us far from Achan’s sin.
Achan’s sin he tried to cover, but by God it was discovered.

ALL THE WAY
Words by Fanny Crosby / Music by Lori Sealy
All the way my Savior leads me; what have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy, who through life has been my guide?
Heavenly peace, divinest comfort, here by faith in Him to dwell;
For I know, whate’er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well.
All the way my Savior leads me, cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial, feeds me with the Living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter, and my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the rock before me, lo, a spring of joy I see!
All the way my Savior leads me – O the fulness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised in my Father’s house above:
When my spirit, clothed, immortal, wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages: Jesus led me all the way!
All the way my Savior leads me; what have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy, who through life has been my guide?
All the way – everyday - everywhere my Savior leads me.
Near or far – there You are – faithfully my Savior leads me

SONG OF THE AFFLICTED
Words and Music by Lori Sealy / Job 23:8-17; Psalm 27
All-seeing God, do You see me? All-hearing Lord, where is Your ear?
All-present Help in times of trouble, You seem so far from being near.
Father of light, I walk in darkness. Great God of peace, the war is long.
Rock of Ages, my sand has shifted. I am so weak, Lord, please be strong.
Untiring God, why do You slumber, while I am tossed on stormy seas?
Please do not tarry any longer; in loving-kindness turn to me.
I gaze ahead; I can’t perceive Him. I look behind; He is not there.
On my left, I don’t behold Him. Turn to my right, He is nowhere.
Though my weak eyes are dim and blinded; though my weak faith at times may fold,
He knows the way that I am traveling, and He shall bring me forth as gold.
He will perform what is appointed. He will decree whate’er I need.
I’ll not be silenced in this darkness, nor by this gloom that covers me.
The Lord’s my light and my salvation. He’s the defense of all my life.
I’ll not be overcome by evil, but through Him overcome this strife.
One thing I’ve asked of God my Maker. One thing with all my heart I’ll seek,
That I may dwell with Him forever, that I may worship at His feet.
Teach me Your way, O loving Father. Lead me along Your level ways.
Your goodness I’ll behold in heaven, and I am waiting for that day,
Patiently waiting for that day.

WHATE'ER MY GOD ORDAINS
Words by Catherine Winkworth and Lori Sealy / Music by Lori Sealy / Genesis 18:25; Isaiah 25:1
Whate’er my God ordains is right: His holy will abideth;
I will be still whate’er He doth, and follow where He guideth.
He is my God; though dark my road, He holds me that I shall not fall:
therefore to Him I leave it all.
Whate’er my God ordains is right: He never will deceive me;
He leads me by the proper path; I know that He will not leave me.
I take, content, what He has sent; His hand can turn my griefs away,
And patiently I wait His day.
I will exalt Him; to Him I’ll sing praise.
In perfect faithfulness He has planned my days.
Whate’er my God ordains is right: though now this cup, in drinking,
May bitter seem to my faint heart, I take it all unshrinking.
My God is true; each morn anew sweet comfort yet shall fill my heart,
And pain and sorrow shall depart.
What my God ordains (is right). What my God ordains (is right)
I will exalt Him; to Him I’ll sing praise.
In perfect faithfulness, He has planned my days.
Whate’er my God ordains is right: here shall my stand be taken;
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine, yet am I not forsaken.
My Father’s care is round me there; He holds me that I shall not fall:
Therefore to Him I leave it all.
What my God ordains (Whate’er my God ordains is right.)
What my God ordains (His holy will abideth.)
What my God ordains (I will be still whate’er He doth.)
What my God ordains (And follow where He guideth.)

therefore to Him I leave it all.
Whate’er my God ordains is right: He never will deceive me;
He leads me by the proper path; I know that He will not leave me.
Whate’er my God ordains is right: here shall my stand be taken;
SURELY
Words and Music by Lori Sealy / Isaiah 53
No stately form, no majesty, no outward look of great beauty;
He was despised by men.
Acquainted with sorrow, He knew pain. Men hid their faces, cursed His name;
esteeming not the Son of God.
Surely our griefs He bore, our sorrows wore.
Stricken and smitten of God, afflicted Son, for us You’ve come.
He was pierced for our sin. The weight of transgression fell on Him,
And by His wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; each of us turned to his own way,
But God has placed the guilt on Him.
Surely our griefs He bore, our sorrows wore.
Stricken and smitten of God, afflicted Son, for us You’ve come.
Though oppressed His mouth did not open; just like a lamb to the slaughter He walked.
He was cut off from the land of the living, that we’d be redeemed from the land of the lost.
Surely our griefs He bore, our sorrows wore.
Stricken and smitten of God, afflicted Son, for us You’ve come.
For us You’ve come. For us You’ve come. (He was pierced for our sins)
For me You’ve come.

ROCK OF AGES
Words by Augustus Toplady / Music by Lori Sealy / I Corinthians 10:4
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood, from Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure, cleanse me from its guilt and pow’r.
Not the labors of my hands can fulfill the law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know, could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress; helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the Fountain fly; wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath, when my eyelids close in death,
When I soar to worlds unknown, see Thee on the judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
